In Memory of my Friend
Dennis "Denny" F. Hazeltine

April 29, 1947 - Sept. 20, 2007

Denny was one of the kindest men I have ever met.
He would do anything for anybody if it was within his power.
The last time I saw you, Denny, was when I was in the harbor with my grandson cleaning up the sidewalks with the city manager and my preacher and many other citizens of Conneaut.
You was sitting on a bench in front of the Bottom Line.
You told me that you had fully intended to help with the Harbor Cleanup
but you had just got out of the hospital the night before.
I know you felt sad because you couldn't help.
Little did I know that that was nearly your last day in Conneaut.
I was told last night that you had been in Cleveland Hospital since July.
I was told last night that you passed away.
I cried.
I felt so badly that I hadn't kept in better touch and didn't go say goodbye to you.
I cried because another wonderful friend had left this world.
I know you are in Heaven surrounded by Heavenly Angels of God.
I know that you are happier than you have been in over the 20 years that I have known you.
I know that you are at peace.
God Bless You and May You Rest in Peace.

With Love,
Your Friend, Sharon

If there are Harleys in Heaven, You will be riding safe and riding free.

I believe the picture of Denny, above here, is from a day that I told Denny:
Today I want to go riding with you!  I told him I have always wanted to ride with him and today was the day.  We rode together on a poker run for a short while but as always... I am a loner.  I like to go taking pictures of everybody and I can't do that by staying in one place.  It was a pleasure riding with such a nice person for the short time I did.
