A Tribute to a Wonderful Friend Norman Stanley "J. R." King 1942 - 1996 He was called J.R. by his many friends and
Sonny by his family. You were one of the kindest men I have ever met. Generous to a fault. You spoiled your children and you spoiled me. I still boast about some of your feats. I must say that you was one of the best pool players I have ever met. I also think you must have had E.S.P. because after we broke up, it seemed like every time I needed something that you could give (as a friend) you were always there. Even after you moved to Oregon. Like the time my clutch in my car broke..... You weren't speaking to me but you had it fixed before I could even get upset about it. Then the time my bike broke.... You just happened to be visiting from Oregon and you helped unload it from the truck. It was the little things like that that made my bond as a friend stronger. I just wish that you could have known it. You gave me some things have that changed my life forever. You gave me confidence. You gave me a life. You made a dream come true that probably never would have came true had it not been for your love for me. It may sound insignificant to a lot of people but it meant a lot to me. You taught me how to ride a Harley and then you gave me one. I cried when I found out that you had left this world. I found out 6 months after you left. You also gave me a life long friend..... Your daughter Kitty. She is like having another daughter and another friend all in one person. She is pictured in the links below. I have put some pictures on here to honor your memory and to bring back good memories for some of the people whose life you have touched. This will let others know what a great person you were. Your Eternal Friend, Sharon
