HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ME!!!

Next, we head for the Summerfest grounds and we get our tickets punched and we decide to go to the other exhibits on Lincoln Drive.
We stand in line for one of the shuttle buses and chat with some of the people in line.  We end up riding in the back of the bus with them.  Don't remember their names.

We stand in line again to get into the advertising exhibit..............
There we saw lots of good looking old bikes.

Lots of people at the Harley Experience....

There was an exhibit of 2004 bikes.  Anyone could sit on them.  I tried out the Road Kings.
This one was really pretty but it isn't exactly what I want.  Nice color though and it fit pretty well.

This Road King..... hahah  it was all I could do to get it up.  I was on my tip toes but I got it standing up.
I like this one but I would definitely have to have it lowered.  There was a white one that I liked even better and it fit better.
I sure hope I can sell my 72 Shovel because I sure want one of these.

This is too weird...... Jim and I was getting thirsty and tired and just wanted someplace to sit in the shade.
We opted to sit next to this couple and started chatting with them.  We asked where they were from and all that stuff.
Come to find out, this gal was the same age as me and we went to the same high school in Peoria at the same time.
What a small world.  If you see this, please, send me an email.  It made my day to meet someone from the past.

You're not gonna believe this one.....
After we left this place, we went back to Bob and Susan's house.
There were going to the fairgrounds to listen to Ted Nugent and invited us to join them later and I was so tired from the past days of riding and partying that I asked Jim how he would feel if we just stayed home and ordered pizza, watched a little TV and went to bed early.
The next day was the BIG PARTY at Veterans Park and I didn't want to be too tired for it.

So.... that's what we did and we liked it.
